Pilgrimage to Consolation, Carey Ohio

On the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, March 25th, 2015, in observance of the year of consecrated life, St. Francis Parish made a Lenten pilgrimage to the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation.

We are blessed to have photos here thanks to the generosity of our fellow pilgrim and photographer, Mr. Ashwin Rebbapragada.

Our Lady of Consolation is a minor basilica of the Roman Catholic Church and a shrine to the Virgin Mary, operated by the Conventual Franciscan Friars. It is located in Carey, Ohio. It was made a national shrine by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Thank you!
